During your first games in Returnal, you will often see the words "Alien technology required" near various objects. What does this mean and how do I get this technology?
The answer is very simple - complete the tasks indicated by the orange dot on the map. By completing subsequent tasks, you will gradually unlock alien technologies that will allow you to use their equipment. For example, after completing the quest "Find a way to control the alien platform", you will get the opportunity to use translocators and fast travel. A few hours of play will be enough, for example, to get a sword and thereby be able to break the blocks of Granite.
Daily challenges
How to activate a call.
After you defeat Firke, the boss of the first world in Returnal, you will unlock the opportunity to activate the daily challenge. This is an additional bonus activity that allows you to earn extra ether.
You need to be on your ship to activate and take part in the challenge. Go to the console to the right of the cabin entrance.
