Why aren’t images downloaded automatically?

This happens with the programs that you download on your computers locally, by which we mean when you view your e-mails through desktop applications such as Outlook and Apple Mail. Therefore, we do not encounter such a situation while using Hotmail, Gmail, or other services. These service providers grant their security according to their own secure servers and that being the case, they can automatically display the content after crossing through the firewalls.

However, when it comes to the local software that we have just mentioned, security becomes “your” problem, and such software performs image blocking unless you set the “display images” as the default setting, mark the e-mail from that particular sender as “secure” or add the sender to your contacts list.
